The short version
Deyra shows you people who are physically near you right now. If you both wave, a short private chat opens. Be decent, be safe, and never use Deyra to hurt anyone. The rest of this page is the agreement between you and Deyra.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account you accept these terms and the Community Guidelines, which form part of them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Deyra.
2. Who can use Deyra
You must be at least 18 years old. If the country you are in sets a higher minimum age for social apps, that higher age applies to you. One account per person. Do not create an account for anyone else, and do not use an account that is not yours.
3. Your account
You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, including keeping your password private. Email support@deyra.net straight away if you believe someone else has gained access to it.
4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour
Deyra has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. By using Deyra you agree never to post, send or share:
- Sexually explicit material, nudity, or anything that sexualises a minor.
- Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, or attacks on a person or a group.
- Violent or graphic content, or content that encourages self-harm.
- Spam, scams, phishing, or attempts to sell anything.
- Impersonation of another person, or misrepresentation of who you are.
- Anything that is illegal where you are.
Every report is reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. Accounts that break these rules are removed, and serious cases are passed to the authorities.
5. Reporting and blocking
Every profile and every chat carries a Report action and a Block action. Blocking removes that person from your discovery feed and removes you from theirs, immediately and permanently. Reporting sends the account and your reason straight to our moderation team.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of your photo, bio, links and messages. You grant Deyra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display that content for one purpose only: running the app and showing your content to the people near you and those you match with. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account. You confirm that you own everything you upload, or are otherwise entitled to share it.
7. Safety in the real world
Deyra connects people who are physically close to one another. Whether you meet anybody is your decision and your risk. Meet somewhere public, tell a friend where you are going, and trust your instincts. Deyra does not carry out background checks on its users and does not vouch for anyone.
8. Suspending or closing an account
We may suspend or permanently close an account that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines, without notice where the risk to other people calls for it. You can close your own account whenever you like from Settings, under Delete account.
9. The service itself
Deyra is provided "as is" and "as available". Features may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deyra is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or from your dealings with other people on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights you will be asked to accept the new version before you carry on using Deyra, and the date at the top of this page will change.
12. Governing law
Deyra is operated from Tunisia. These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the app, are governed by Tunisian law, and the courts of Tunisia have jurisdiction.
If you use Deyra as a consumer in a country whose law gives you protections that cannot be set aside by agreement, nothing here removes those protections, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country you live in.
13. General
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a term on one occasion is not a waiver of it.
